Postcards from Passover: We, or Easter, Passover, Spring (Day 3)

For this third day of Passover, Matthew Septimus and I celebrate the many possibilities with a poem and a picture.

You have to tell your children
Exodus 13:8

What we celebrate
spring
freedom
liberation
resurrection
that we can have
a good meal, again
and then eggs,
colored or brown
Middle Eastern
eggs colored from
onion skins
my son liked Cadbury
chocolate eggs
from CVS
are these eggs different
liberation from
specificity what we
celebrate is what
we are able to see
