Sea Asters
I have got to know the fawn’s
Salt-marsh skeleton, abstract
Vertebrae and white ribs
In a puddle jellyfish fill
At spring tide, ghost-circles
Close to the sea asters’
Purple golden-hearted
Scruffy loveliness.
