There’s a burgeoning folk music scene in New Delhi, India. And, Pratapaditya Deb, a 30-year-old musician from Assam who goes by the name Dayglocrazie, draws on the universal themes of hope and goodness, our relationship to others and the Earth, and the love and loss we all experience at sometime in our lives. He wrote in to thank us for our “replenishing” podcast conversations, and, in turn, we were delighted to discover his gorgeous song about “the quietly devastating experience of being lost in the belly of the whale”:
